Deputy Manager Children's Home

In this role, you will lead a team in the daily operations of a 4-bed EBD home, focusing on ensuring excellent outcomes for the young residents while upholding the highest standards of compliance in line with Ofsted regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management within the home.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of relevant regulations, legislation, and company policies.
  • Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of young residents.
  • Manage the staff team and strive to maintain the current 'Good' Ofsted Rating of the home and always strive for an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
  • Create a therapeutic environment to support residents' recovery.
  • Represent the home to external agencies and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the management team for service planning and development.
  • Maintain appropriate occupancy levels aligned with business and resident needs.

We are looking for individuals with essential personal attributes such as enthusiasm, resilience, and the ability to work well with others, manage stress, and inspire exceptional teams.

If you have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Desirable qualifications include an NVQ Level 3 and Level 5 Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare. Successful candidates should be child-focused, psychologically minded, and have a strong desire to improve the lives of children and young people.

In return, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 per year, along with company events, a pension plan, and free on-site parking.
