We are looking for an experienced and qualified Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of two, 3 bed EBD children's residential homes in Ilford. The homes are currently in different stages of development, with one home ready for registration and the other home ready to have planning submitted. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that both homes meet the highest standards of care and are registered with Ofsted.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of two children's residential homes
• Ensure that both homes meet the highest standards of care and are registered with Ofsted
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Manage and supervise staff
• Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals
• Promote the welfare and development of children and young people
• Attend training and development opportunities
• Keep up-to-date with legislation and best practice

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management 
• At least 5 years' experience working in a children's residential care setting
• Experience of managing and supervising staff
• Experience of liaising with parents, carers, and other professionals
• Experience of Ofsted inspections
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Commitment to child-centered care
